Summit Leaders

Picture
The "Summit Leader" is a special role for professors interested in actively leading one of our events during the summer or winter breaks.

Who are the Summit Leaders?  These are our partners, usually senior professors, who help organize our Summits for our summer or winter programs.

Summit Leaders fill many roles...
  • To the student, the Summit Leader is the public speaker, the teacher, the consultant, the adviser, the rule-maker, and the friend.
  • To the university, the Summit Leader is the contact person, the organizer, and the face of our organization at that location.
  • To us, the Summit Leader is our partner in developing the academics, logistics and organization to ensure a successful event.

Why become a Summit Leader:
There are many reasons to want to be involved, here are a few:
  1. Professional Networking (Develop friendships with professors from other universities, and with professionals at leading companies and international organizations in Brazil or in Europe)
  2. Academic Experience (Internationalize your academic career with experience leading an educational group at a European or Brazilian university)
  3. Personal Development (Gain cultural exposure to many of the great cities in Europe and Latin America, plus a chance to travel and see the world)
  4. Financial compensation
  5. A chance to interact with students from multiple universities and international backgrounds
