Cancellation Policy

At Summit Global Education, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to provide flexibility where possible, while ensuring that we can effectively manage program costs and logistics.

Application Fee
  • The $40 application fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.

Refunds for Program Payments

1. Within 14 Days of Enrollment
  • Full refund of all payments, minus the $40 non-refundable application fee.
  • This option is only available if the cancellation is more than 90 days before the program start date.
2. More Than 90 Days Before the Program Start Date
  • Refund of payments made, minus:
    • The $40 application fee.
    • A $300 administrative fee to cover early planning, deposits, and fixed costs.
3. 60-90 Days Before the Program Start Date
  • 50% of payments refunded. This accounts for housing deposits, train tickets, and other non-refundable commitments already made.
4. Less Than 60 Days Before the Program Start Date
  • No refunds, as the majority of program costs will already be paid for and non-refundable at this stage.


Special Considerations

  1. Visa Denial
    • Students whose visa applications are denied can request a refund, minus the $40 application fee, provided they submit scanned copies of the official visa rejection letters.
  2. Medical Emergencies
    • In cases of verified medical emergencies, Summit will evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Documentation from a licensed medical provider will be required.
  3. Program Adjustments
    • Programs will proceed unless the U.S. State Department issues a Level 4 Travel Advisory (Do Not Travel) for the program destination. Minor itinerary adjustments do not qualify for refunds.

Program Adjustments
  • Summit reserves the right to make minor adjustments to itineraries, destinations, or accommodations if necessary to ensure student safety or program continuity. Such changes do not qualify for refunds.

How to Cancel

To cancel your participation in a program, email director @ SummitGlobalEducation .com with your:
  • Full name
  • Program name and start date
  • Reason for cancellation
Refunds will be processed within 30 business days of receiving the request and required documentation (if applicable).
