Summit Global Education:
Traveling study abroad programs, with a focus on business, culture and society
Earn academic credits while traveling with professors through some of the world’s most dynamic cities. Summit Global Education programs combine coursework with professional visits and cultural immersion, turning travel itself into part of the curriculum.
At Summit Global Education, classes are designed for students who want to understand how ideas take shape in real settings. Courses are academically rigorous and taught by professors from accredited partner universities, but they are also built around questions that invite curiosity and debate. Students explore how business decisions are made, how communication breaks down or succeeds across cultures, and how institutions influence everyday outcomes. Learning is active, discussion driven, and grounded in analysis rather than memorization.
Classes emphasize participation and inquiry. Students are expected to ask good questions, challenge assumptions, and connect theory to observed practice. Assessment includes analytical writing, projects, exams, and discussion, with a focus on clarity of thought and evidence based argumentation. The academic experience feels less like completing a checklist of requirements and more like joining an ongoing conversation about how business, culture, and society actually function.

About Summit Global Education:
Founded in 2011, Summit Global Education designs faculty-led, multi-city study abroad programs where travel is central to the curriculum. Students earn academic credit while moving with professors through cities selected for their cultural and academic relevance, combining coursework with company visits, cultural experiences, and daily discussions. Summit partners with accredited universities to deliver programs in Europe, Brazil, and other global regions, preparing students for careers in business, technology, and international fields.
Faculty-Led, Academically Grounded
Summit programs are taught by an international faculty drawn from accredited partner universities. Professors are deeply involved in both course design and instruction, and remain actively engaged with students throughout the program. They lead classes, guide discussion, and help students connect academic concepts to the environments they are studying.
This sustained faculty presence creates continuity and depth. Students are encouraged to move beyond first impressions, develop sharper questions, and ground their observations in evidence and theory. Learning remains structured and demanding, while also responsive to the questions students raise along the way.

Learning through Comparison
Studying a subject in one place can offer insight. Studying it across multiple contexts reveals patterns, tensions, and trade-offs that are otherwise easy to miss. Summit programs are designed to help students recognize how similar challenges are addressed differently depending on history, policy, culture, and institutional design.
Courses are structured so that each location adds a new layer of perspective. Faculty guide students in comparing cases, testing assumptions, and synthesizing what they observe into a broader understanding of how systems operate. The goal is not to reach simple conclusions, but to become more comfortable navigating complexity.

Credit-Bearing and University-Aligned
Summit Global Education works closely with accredited universities to deliver credit-bearing programs that align with standard academic expectations. Courses include defined syllabi, contact hours, learning outcomes, and assessment methods comparable to upper-division undergraduate coursework.
Students are evaluated through a combination of exams, analytical writing, projects, and participation. Academic standards are consistent and transparent, ensuring that credit transfer is straightforward and that coursework carries lasting value beyond the program itself.

Preparing Students for a Global Context
Summit programs are intended for students who want to understand how ideas, organizations, and societies function in practice. Through structured coursework and sustained faculty guidance, students develop habits of inquiry that emphasize careful observation, comparison, and critical analysis.
By the end of a Summit program, students have done more than complete courses abroad. They have learned how to ask better questions, engage thoughtfully with unfamiliar environments, and connect theory to lived experience. These skills remain relevant long after the program ends.
