About our Courses:

Classes for our upcoming programs are thought-provoking, interesting and fun.  We expect students to be open minded, engaged and eager to learn about other countries and cultures. In-class instruction is enhanced with an out-of-class experience that includes escorted visits to economic organizations and leading international companies.  

Our courses are designed to offer students a deep insight into the Brazilian economy, society, political situation and culture.  Classes are taught on-campus (and while traveling) by a faculty of multi-national and cosmopolitan professors, and will be finely woven into the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, making the most of their landmarks and event spaces. 

Students:  

• All majors are welcome!  UNDERGRADUATE or GRADUATE level students are welcome to apply.

Number of Courses:  

• Depending upon the session, students may take one or two courses.  Two courses is highly recommended.

Professors in Brazil:

• For our study abroad programs in Brazil, we are fortunate to have a highly qualified and experienced faculty of professors from the University ESPM in Rio and Sao Paulo. These professors have a deep understanding of the local culture and are committed to providing a top-notch education to our students. By studying with these professors, students will have the opportunity to learn from some of Brazil's most accomplished scholars and gain valuable insights into the country's unique culture and way of life.

University in Brazil

• Summit Global Education is pleased to offer study abroad programs in Brazil in partnership with the University ESPM (Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing). These programs provide students with the opportunity to enroll in academic courses at the university and experience life in Brazil firsthand. Upon acceptance into the program, students will be  officially enrolled in ESPM. Upon completion of the program, students will receive their grades and official transcripts directly from ESPM, as well as a certificate of completion. These documents will serve as evidence of the student's successful participation in the program and can be used for future academic or professional endeavors.

• ONE COURSE ONLY: BRA 326 · Introduction to Brazil: Innovation, Language, and Culture (includes intensive Portuguese language and cultural immersion).  Note: you will have courses in both the morning and the afternoon for this one-combined course.

Extras:

Beyond the classroom, students who come to Brazil with Summit Global Education will find a full itinerary of activities.  In general, you should expect to be in class in the mornings, and then we will have planned activities every other afternoon (leaving the other afternoons for personal exploration and free time).

Daily "Introduction to Brazil" sessions:

• In addition to your daily classes (options listed above), you will also have a daily session with professors and local Brazilian students to talk about your experience in Brazil
