UPCOMING STUDY ABROAD COURSES WITH SUMMIT GLOBAL EDUCATION

Academic Course Options

Study Abroad Courses

  • Courses are designed to be dynamic, interactive, thought-provoking, interesting and fun.  We expect students to bring an open mind and to be engaged and hungry for cultural experiences.  All of our courses will be taught while traveling, and on campus by a faculty of multi-national and cosmopolitan professors.
  • Summit courses are designed to travel with you. Each program includes a core regional foundation course alongside electives in areas like cross-cultural communication and management. What makes them distinctive is how classroom learning is continuously tied to the places you visit — professional site visits, cultural exploration, and faculty-led debriefs turn travel into structured academic experience.
  • All courses carry full credit, balance academic rigor with applied practice, and are built to transfer into a variety of majors. Whether your focus is business, engineering, communications, or the social sciences, Summit courses connect global contexts to your field of study while giving you the practical skills to work across borders.

Course Options

BRAZIL:
Courses in Brazil integrate classroom study with travel through the country’s cultural and economic hubs. Students build a foundation in Brazil’s institutions and society, then connect those lessons to field visits, cultural immersion, and guided reflection that bring the country’s complexity into focus.

EUROPE:
Courses in Europe link regional study of the European Union with cross-cultural learning across multiple cities. Students examine how European institutions and cultures shape daily life, reinforced by professional visits, local encounters, and faculty-led debriefs that turn travel into academic experience.

About the Professors

Summit programs are led by professors who travel with students, teach in the classroom, and guide discussions during daily debriefs. Their role is not only to deliver course content but also to help students make sense of what they see in companies, communities, and cultural settings along the way.  Our faculty come from partner universities in Europe and Brazil, bringing both international perspective and local expertise. This combination ensures that students gain rigorous academic foundations while also learning directly from those who understand each region’s context.
