How to Apply for a Summit Program

Ready to take the next step in your study abroad journey? Follow these steps to apply:

Step 1: Talk to Your Academic Advisor

Before applying, meet with your academic advisor or study abroad office to discuss credit transfer and ensure the courses align with your academic goals. Bring along course syllabi and program information to streamline the approval process.

Step 2: Complete the Application

Start your application by submitting:

Application Form: Available online.
$40 Application Fee: This non-refundable fee ensures your application is reviewed promptly.
Essay: Write a short (250–300 word) essay answering the following:
- Why are you interested in participating in this Summit program?
- Why did you choose [Europe/Brazil]?
- What do you hope to gain or learn from this experience?
- Tip: Be genuine and reflective in your essay. We want to understand your goals and motivations.

Step 3: Application Review

Once your application is submitted, our admissions team will review your materials. This process typically takes 5 business days.

Step 4: Approval and Interview

If your application meets our initial criteria:

You’ll receive an approval email inviting you to schedule a short personal interview.
During the interview, we’ll discuss your goals, answer your questions, and ensure that our program is the right fit for you.
Note: If your university already has an established agreement with Summit, the application process may be expedited, as your school has pre-screened your eligibility.

Step 5: Confirm Your Spot

Once approved, confirm your participation by:

Paying the $500 confirmation deposit, which secures your place in the program.
Setting up a payment plan for the remaining balance.
