Housing Assistance
  • SGE understands that comfortable, safe and centrally-located accomodations are an important part of your study abroad experience, so we only stay in hotels in desirable locations.
  • SGE makes every effort to honor roommate requests and to limit rooms to two persons unless a triple is requested.
  • All rooms have private bathrooms and internet access.

Professional Visits
  • The SGE - Explore Europe program includes professional visits to European and International companies and economic institutions that provides valuable insight into the European business and economic environment and supplement the in-class instruction. Students have the opportunity to network with the high-level representatives from the organizations that we visit.

TRAVEL - Excursions:
  • For all students in all sessions - SGE encourages students to take advantage of the free Saturday afternoons and Sundays to explore nearby sites of interest.  Summit staff will assist students in planning these optional activities and trips.

Personalized Advising:
  • Our staff and professors get to know each student and offer personalized advising: helping students not only to select the best program and courses, but also getting the most out of the entire study abroad experience
  • Assisting in the credit transfer process
  • Providing student visa and immigration information
  • Helping to identify financial aid assistance

Airport Reception
  • On the start date of the program, during specific hours, an SGE representative will meet students at the airport and offer a brief orientation, and assist in arranging transportion to the hotel.  See the "detailed itinerary" page for information for the dates and times available for this service.
  • This helps to ensure a worry-free start to the Summit Global Education program
  • Provides added convenience, safety and comfort upon arrival at unfamiliar destination

Staff Support
  • Local university and SGE staff will be available to address your unique questions and assist you throughout the duration of your program

Online Course Syllabi and Descriptions

"My first study abroad experience took place in the summer of 2012. Professor Tyler worked around the clock in order to create the optimal experience for all those involved. Mike has a very personable attitude that is always approachable to help solve any problem or to just share a story. All of the students that had taken his courses were very pleased with his teaching methods, even the ones that found the subject matter difficult. I have recommended taking a study abroad program with Professor Tyler to anyone that will listen to me since.
